We are looking for a senior mechanical engineer with a focus on concept development for an assignment in the product development of robotic lawnmowers. You will work closely with a team that takes new ideas from early sketches to functioning and tested prototypes, with the goal of handing over mature concepts to R&D.

This assignment is suitable for you who thrive in a practical development environment where you combine design, prototyping, and verification, while taking clear ownership of your project areas.

• Develop new concepts from the idea stage to functioning prototype.
• Build and test concepts both independently and together with testing engineers.
• Plan, drive, and take responsibility for your own project areas to ensure a finished and tested concept.
• Collaborate closely with the team to drive the development work forward.
• Document and prepare the handover of concepts to R&D.

• At least 10 years of experience in product development work within mechanics.
• Solid experience in concept development, preferably from a blank sheet to a functioning prototype.
• Ability to independently drive and plan your parts of the project.
• Very good knowledge of Catia.
• Experience with Teamcenter.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Swedish B driver's license.
